The County of Lambton is an urban-rural area in southwestern Ontario that is home to over 126,000 residents. Position Overview

Shelve library materials in a prompt and efficient manner. Assist library staff with programming and displays as requested. Assist with incoming and outgoing interbranch mail.

Duties and Responsibilities

Organizing Library Materials:
Shelves library materials in established order (eg Dewey Decimal classification)
Tidies shelves
Empties drop boxes
Assist with programme preparation/delivery
Assist with locating library materials in branch collections to fulfil branch requests
Assist with processing library materials
Assist with organizing library collections

Incumbents must possess the physical ability to meet the duties and responsibilities of the job description and/or the requirements identified within the position's Physical Demands Analysis.

Minimum Formal Education:
Must be enrolled in a high school program
